As important as your decision to acquire forensic technology tools is the one to ensure that your staff is properly trained. Although your team may be able to operate these solutions effectively, the need to demonstrate that investigations are undertaken by a competent person, (see ACPO guidelines) makes vendor delivered training a real requirement.
